Funeral services for Billie Feagley, age 77, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at Southside Church of Christ, at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 12, 2008, with Shane Carrington and John Kenslow officiating. Interment will follow at Littlefield Cemetery, with Bob Pipes officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Don Petty, Marlin Jones, Bob Parker, Charles Shurtleff, George Walker and George Crowley. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Billie Feagley passed away Monday evening, June 9, 2008, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 22, 1930, in Littlefield, the daughter of William Oliver and Mary Ellen Brawley Yeary. She married James Feagley at Littlefield, on June 25, 1950; he survives. Mrs. Feagley was a homemaker and a member of Southside Church of Christ. She was a retired member of the Mansville Fire Department Women Auxiliary.
Other survivors include: two sons, Roger Feagley of Sulphur Springs and James (Jimmy) Feagley, Jr. of Reno; twin sister, Bobbie Dean Hurt of Irving; four grandchildren, Jamie Gupta, Ryan Feagley, Robyn Feagley and Jenna Feagley and great-grandson, Brayden Feagley. She was preceded in death by daughter, Ellen Darlene Feagley; two sisters, Ruby Gill and Opal Pierce and brother, Roy Yeary. Memorials may be made to the Scottish Rite Crippled Children.
