Beverley Burnett

Funeral services for Beverley Cargal Burnett, age 60, of Irving, formerly of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel , at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 21, 2009, with Rev. Joel Tiemeyer and Rev. Larry Burnett officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, with Terry McCreary, Keith Harvey, Steve Brock, Duane Lewis, Kyle Hooper, Justin Smiddy, Chris Perkins and Cody Kalb serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 20, 2009 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Beverley Cargal Burnett passed away at Baylor Hospital in Irving, Thursday morning, November 19, 2009. She was born in Wichita Falls, on September 16, 1949, the daughter of Jimmie Houston Cargal and Jaqulee Bishop Cargal. She married Floyd Franklin Burnett, in Sulphur Springs, on July 1, 1994; he survives. Mrs. Burnett was a retired apartment manager and she was of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include: son, Gerald Ray Crossman; three daughters, Cheryl Lynn Hooper, Betsy McCreary, all of Sulphur Springs and Ginnie Burnett of Dallas; two sisters, Retha O'Shield of Sulphur Springs and Reba Harvey of Brashear; grandchildren, John Michael Howard, Jaqulynn Reid, Houston Kyle Hooper, Steve Brock, Steva and Savannah McCreary, Christopher and Johnathon Perkins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Donald Wayne Cargal.
