Beulah Godfrey

Graveside service for Beulah Godfrey, age 88, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Nelta Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M prior to the service at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.  Mrs. Godfrey passed away on Tuesday February 15, 2022 at Rock Creek Health and Rehab in Sulphur Springs

Beulah Joyce was born on February 4, 1934 in Nelta, Texas to Arbie and Ellen Wilhite.  She married Lannas “Donny” Godfrey in Nelta in 1952.  Beulah was a beautician by trade.  She was a member of League Street Church of Christ.

She is survived by her son, Larry Godfrey of Sulphur Springs; daughter, Deborah Godfrey of Paris; sister, Edith Sanders of Dallas; brother, Troy Wilhite of Garland; sisters-in-law, Janie Godfrey of Sulphur Springs and June Godfrey of Mount Vernon; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Jerrell Wilhite and sister, Evelyn Wilhite.

In lieu of flowers the family would like to ask that you lend a hand to the disabled.
