Betty Flemens

A graveside service for Betty J. Flemens, age 76, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Restlawn Memorial Park, at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2012, with Brother Bob Keller officiating. Her grandsons will be serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Betty J. Flemens passed away at her residence, Monday, July 2, 2012. She was born in Dallas on February 3, 1936, the daughter of Frank Oliver Perkins and Minerva (Lewis) Perkins. She married Mike M. Flemens in Venice, California on November 21, 1953. He preceded her in death in 1980. She was a homemaker and she was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: five daughters, Donna Baskin, Cindy Lyons, Janet Keller and husband, Bob, Marcia Medeiros, all of Sulphur Springs and Betsy Flot and husband, Jamie, of Iowa; two sons, Mark Flemens and wife, Sharon and Clifton Flemens, all of Sulphur Springs; brother, Bill Perkins of Tipton, California; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
