Bennie Berry

Funeral service for Bennie Berry, age 90 of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at 11:00A.M. on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Nash, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Mel Haven Cemetery with Gary Franklin, Michael Debase, Sean Franklin, Brian Franklin, Jarrod Franklin and Robert Franklin serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Mrs. Berry passed away on August 19, 2022 at her residence.

Bennie was born on April 11, 1932 in Sulphur Springs, TX to her mother, Robbie Ray Kelley. She married David L. Berry on September 27, 1958. Later, in 2001 Mr. Berry passed away. She worked as a seamstress for many years at the H.D. Lee Factory. Bennie was a faithful member of the Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and a part of the Seasoned Saints.

She is survived by her sons, David Berry (wife, Janice) and Randall Berry; daughters, Jacqueline and Michelle Berry; grandchildren, Derrick and Jessica Berry and brother, J.D. Franklin and a host of other relatives, friends and church family members.

Bennie was preceded in death by her husband, David, and her mother, Robbie Ray.
