B.C. Yarbrough

Visitation for B.C. Yarbrough, age 69, of Como will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2023 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Yarbrough passed away Friday, December 15, 2023 at his residence after a battle with lung cancer.

Buddie Carl Yarbrough was born April 9, 1954 in Dallas, TX to Carl Ruffus Yarbrough and Mattie Duff (Jolley) Yarbrough. He worked in construction for 48 years having owned and operated his own construction company. He was also a dairy farmer for 30 years. He had his hands in a little bit of everything including a sawmill, cattle, and numerous other business operations and projects.

B.C. is survived by his daughters, Kendall Woodall and husband, Richard of Sulphur Springs; Amanda Yarbrough and husband, Jeff Simmons of Como; Cindy Lemmons of Bluffdale; son, Samuel Yarbrough of Cleburne; grandchildren, Luke Woodall, Olivia Woodall, Makenzie Woodall, Addison Woodall, Bryce Perez, Wesley Cedillo, Samantha Simmons, Ashley Yarbrough, Kristina Norris; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Cedillo, Keelan Holden-McWhorter; sister, Trula Davenport and husband, Ronnie of Emory; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and six sisters.
