Bart Belcher

Funeral service for Bart Belcher, age 61, of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Murray - Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ron Smedley and Gary Williamson officiating.  Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Big E, Noah Ray, Brandon Hudson, Nick Theofiledes, Rustin Belcher, Darren Harred, Taylor Cravens, and Tony Anglin serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Friday, October 2, 2020 from 6 to 8 P. M at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Belcher passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX.

Bart Belcher was born December 15, 1958 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. He married Nina Barrett in Sulphur Springs, Texas on September 29, 2013. He was a member of the Community Bible Fellowship Church. Bart served in the United States Air Force, worked as a tool-hand consultant in the oil industry, and was an ordained minister.

He is survived by his wife, Nina Belcher of Sulphur Springs, TX; son; Russell Belcher and wife, Casey, of Edgewood, TX; daughters, Melissa Belcher of Kilgore, TX, Marla Myers and husband, Buddy, of New London, TX, and Casey Cassady of Sulphur Springs, TX; grandchildren, Chloe Charlo, Kaily Charlo, Cutter Belcher, Cash Belcher, Rayley Ruthart, and Bentley Cassady; and brother, Rusty Belcher of Sulphur Springs, TX.

Bart was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family will accept memorials in honor of Bart at Alliance Bank in Nina’s name.
