Barbara Shockey

Family Led Memorial for Barbara Shockey, age 68, of Como, TX will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 29, 2019 at Birthright Baptist with Edgar Clements officiating. Barbara passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Rock Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Barbara was born May 3rd, 1951 in Fort Worth, TX to Robert Hickey and Udean Baxter. She married George Shockey in Ft. Worth, Tx on December 29, 1989. Barbara was a cosmetologist for 30 years and retired as medical assistant. She lived in Forth Worth, Tx for most of her lifetime.

Survivors include her husband George; daughters Latricia Smith and husband Sandy of MS, Kimberly Ormand and husband Scott of Coppell, La Fleata Johnson and husband Jimmy of Denton, Lisa Lutrick of Como, Christine Borrelli of Sulphur Springs, and Sonia Hayman of Logan Utah; Sisters Peggy and Carolyn and Brother Robert; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and countless friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and son; Matthew Wilbanks.
