Ava Woolsey

A graveside service for Ava Lou Woolsey, age 74, of Wylie will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 at Nelta Cemetery with Mark Carter officiating and Ronnie Roberts, Mike Mohn, Jobie Woolsey, James Woolsey, Jr., Antonio Mendoza and Ross Scott serving as pallbearers. Visitation is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. before the service at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Ava Woolsey passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Sulphur Springs on June 11, 1939, the daughter of Floyd Thomas Jobe and Grace Argenbright. She married Jack Woolsey in Clovis, NM on June 13, 1955. He preceded her in death in 2007.
Survivors include: two daughters, Kathy Woolsey Lites of Murphy and Debra Woolsey Daniel of Hooks; three sons, Jackie Woolsey, Jr. of Lake Dallas, Jobie Woolsey of Flower Mound and James Woolsey, Jr. of Wylie; grandchildren; Candice Roberts and Ronnie, Laura Mendoza and Antonio, Lanie Foote, Niki Simonton, Natasha Lozano, Amber Thompson, Ashley Hill and Mike, Audrey Woolsey, Desiree Foote and Miracle Lites, twelve great grandchildren and one sister, Mamie Sue Little of Sulphur Springs.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Adams, two brothers, Kenneth "Jobie" Jobe and Roy Leon Jobe.
