Audrey Alcorn

Funeral services for Audrey Alcorn, age 86 of Sulphur Springs will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, January 9, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Al Davis and Rev. Linden Petty officiating. Interment will follow in the Black Oak Cemetery with Mike Alcorn, Steve Alcorn, Bryan Alcorn, Chris Alcorn, Anthony Alcorn, David Alcorn, Phillip Alcorn, and James Alcorn, Jr. serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Beau Alcorn, Doug Alcorn, Ronald Alcorn, Tanner Alcorn, Martha Ann and Wendle Heard, Janice Meadlin, LaWanna Morris, Susanna and Edward Woodard. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Audrey Fay Alcorn passed away on Friday, January 6, 2012 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Winnsboro on January 11, 1925 the daughter of Roy Dustin and Ora Corine McDonald Laminack. She married Roy Glenn Alcorn in Rockwall on October 5, 1946. He preceded her in death in 2008. She was a retired color print technician for Eckerd's Drugs. She was member of the Grace Family Church and the Black Oak Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Sister-in-law, Betty Caudle of Yantis; brothers-in-law, Lanie Alcorn of Yantis, James Alcorn, Sr. of Garland, and W. F. Alcorn of Hartsville, SC.
She was preceded in death by brother, Billy Gene Laminack.
