Graveside funeral services for Arlie Liggett, 92 of Pearland, formerly of Sulphur Springs will be 10:00 am, Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 7 to 8 pm Friday, July 13, 2012 at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home.
Arlie Grace Liggett passed away at Windsong Village Nursing Home in Pearland, Texas Wednesday morning, July 11, 2012. She was born in Saltillo on June 6, 1920 to Gus and Vera (Mathes) Stout. She married Virgil T. Liggett in Dallas on June 5, 1946. He preceded her in death in 2005. She was a homemaker, a member of the Church of Christ, and a member of the 1938 Golden Cyclones basketball team at Saltillo High School.
Survivors include: Daughter, Gail Brown and husband, Kevin, of Manvel; sister, Louise Metcalf of Richardson; brother, Jerry Stout of Moscow, Texas; and grandson, Austin Chilton. She was preceded in death by sisters, Farice Wood and Billie Jo Grammatico.
