Annie Abron

Funeral services for Annie Mae Abron of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Morning Chapel Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 2, 2012, with Rev. Harold B. Nash, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove in Cason, with Lydell Peterson, Norris Davis, Jerrod Jackson, Roderick Godbolt, Broderick Godbolt, Joel Peoples, Randall Godbolt, Myris Abron and Patrick Morgan serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Morning Chapel Baptist Church. No formal visitation is scheduled.
Annie Mae Abron passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Cason, Texas on June 28, 1921, the daughter of Wister Godbolt, Sr. and Clara (Tucker) Godbolt. She married Ernest Abron in Cason. He preceded her in death in 1985. Mrs. Abron was a homemaker and she was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: daughter, Annie L. Abron of Longview; sister, Mary Elizabeth Traylor and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister, Cleora Turner and brother, Wister Godbolt, the 1st.
