Anita Treider

Graveside funeral services for Anita Treider, age 87 of Mt. Vernon will be held Monday, April 6, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington with Grayson Moody officiating. There will be no formal visitation.

Ms. Treider passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab. She was born in Dale, OK on May 20, 1927, the daughter of Talton and Opal (Shaw) Bewley. She married Melvin Treider in June, 1947 at Clovis, NM. He preceded her in death in 1999. She was a real estate broker and a member of the Board of Realtors.

Survivors include sons, Melvin Treider of Mt. Vernon and Gary Treider and wife, Karen of Midlothian; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and brother, Jack Bewley.

Memorials can be made to the Salvation Army.
