Amy Wood

Funeral services for Amy Wood, age 46, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 1, 2008, at Lake Highlands Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park . Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Lake Highlands Baptist Church .

Amy Wood passed away Thursday evening, May 29, 2008, in Tyler, at Hospice Homeplace. She was born in Sulphur Springs, on March 27, 1962, the daughter of James Haskell and Alice Pogue Gill. She married Danny Wood in Sulphur Springs, on December 9, 1980; he survives. Mrs. Wood was an antique buyer. She was a member of Lake Highlands Baptist Church and a member of Community Bible Study.

Other survivors include: mother, Alice Francis and husband, Richard, of Sulphur Springs; brothers, Jimmy Gill of Sulphur Springs, Frank Francis of Nashville, Tennessee and Richard Francis, Jr. of Sulphur Springs and sister, Gina Canada of Emory. She is preceded in death by her father, James Haskell Gill. Memorials may be made to Lake Highlands Baptist Church .
