Alicia Medina

Funeral Service for Alicia Medina, age 74, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Murray-Orwosky Chapel with Pastor Miguel Zelaya officiating and Pastor Robert Velazquez assisting. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Feliciano Medina Jr., Ricardo Chavarria, Abilio Medina, Jaime Medina and Carlos Medina serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M. with speaking starting at 7 P.M. on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mrs. Medina passed away Monday, February 13, 2017, at her home. She was born January 15, 1943 in Sesori, San Miguel, El Salvador, the daughter of Tranquilino and Rosaura (Chavarria) Vasquez. She married Feliciano Medina in June of 1989 in Arlington, VA. Mrs. Medina was a member of Centro Cristiano de Adoracion and a homemaker.

She is survived by her sons, Ricardo Chavarria, Feliciano Medina Jr., Ricardo Chavarria, Abilio Medina, Jaime Medina, Carlos Medina; daughters, Maria Merino and Mayra Moreno; 24 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.

Alicia was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Feliciano Medina.
