Alejandro Leal

A funeral service for Alex "Putski" Leal, age 58, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2014 at the Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Annie Wagner officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial park with Ricky Latham, Lee Roy Luna, David Luna, Tony Gonzalez, Erik Swindell, and Jimmy Stansbury serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cecil Luna, Gilbert Luna, and Roy Luna. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Alex "Putski" Leal passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at his residence. He was born March 15, 1955 to Canuto and Conchia Leal in Pearsall, TX. He married Alvina Leal on February 8, 1991 in Seymour, TX; she preceded him in death in 2011. He was a painter and a member of the Full Gospel House of Prayer.
Survivors include: daughters, Aurora Morris and husband James of Wichita, KS and Martha Luna and husband Roy of Sulphur Springs; sister, Adela Leal of Sunset, TX; brothers, Alfredo Leal, Sammy Leal, Canuto Leal, Jr., all of San Antonio and Eloy Leal of Stanton, TX; twelve grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, sister, Ora Pena, brothers, Rudy, Fred, and Jimmy Leal, and step-son, Greg Aranda.
